Lisa is an addicted traveler who believes in turning her passion into a career. The day she turned 18, she flew to Paris, and spent the subsequent years waitressing in Switzerland, picking olives in Greece, and importing merchandise from South America. When her son Galen was eight months old, he became her most frequent trip companion, playing peek-a-boo in Morocco, singing nursery rhymes to lounging lions in Kenya, and snorkeling with giant squid in Fiji. For the past two decades Lisa has been the travel columnist for the Pacific Sun in Marin County, and her feature articles and short stories have appeared in numerous publications. She teaches workshops around the world on her other twin passions, writing and dance, and offers private consultation as an editor and book midwife.Visit www.lisaalpine.com and www.danceweaver.com for more information. |
