December 4, 2002 with Camille Cusumamo

December 4, 2002 at the Monticello Inn

Host: Jacqueline Harmon Butler
Guest: Camille Cusumamo, author of The Last Cannoli

Camille gave us a great reading from her book The Last Cannoli, really getting into a character who, like a cannoli, is hard on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside.

Quite a number of people from the literary world showed up. Barbara Traub, author of an upcoming photography book on Burning Man; Mad Dog, a local humor columnist; Richard Sterling, food writer and editor with many, many books on gastronomie under his bowtie; Brad Newsham who had a few words to say about his Backpack Nation project; and more. —Carla King

Wild Writing Women present: Jacqueline Harmon Butler, who hostessed this event. Alison Wright, fresh from winning two big awards, one in photogaphy and one in writing; Lynn Ferrin, between trips; and Carla King.
